Founder & Operator Kevin Luu was first exposed to the coffee scene when he barely turned 18, roasting for Piazza D’Oro Espresso. He was then barista trained by the renowned Coffee Alchemy, Hazel De Los Reyes before opening his string of cafes Euforia Espresso Balmain East (est. 2011), Seven Thirty Coffee (est. 2017), Naked Brew (est. 2016) and most recently Pacifica Espresso Barangaroo (est. 2019).
Opening in late 2016, Naked Brew gained huge media attention with reviews of their first full doggie menu including Doggie Smoothies, Puppychino & the oh so popular O.G. Doggie Donut, all made in house.
Naked Brew’s menu for humans was also given a creative twist which no other café’s within the vicinity had on offer but still offering the classics, done well.
Crackling Pork Belly & Buttermilk Waffles, Soft Shell Crab Benedict with Sriracha Hollandaise, Not So Buddha Bowl & our popular Apple & Cinnamon-Oat Crumble Brioche French Toast brought over from Euforia Espresso to name a few has really made Naked Brew a difficult choice for consumers not to visit on a lazy sunny weekend.
Tried and tested many specialty coffee roasters, we have partnered with Campos Coffee to roast all our house blend including seasonal v60 Filter & Cold Brew all running through our beautiful Synesso Espresso Machine to serve the most delicious hug-in-a-mug.
Whether you’re a dog owner or dog lover, Naked Brew is the social hangout for you. Every day, we see so many different breeds of dogs and in multiple occasions, our neighbourhood dogs have escaped their homes to end up at their other most familiar home, Naked Brew.
Overall, the cafés laidback vibes using clean lines & design; wishbone chairs, long LED feature lighting, and friendliest of staffs gives you and your best mate the perfect excuse to laze the day away.
