Bright Brewery this week launches its 2021 fresh-hopped beer, North East Victoria IPA.
Due to our location as the closest brewery to the Southern Hemisphere’s largest hop farm, Rostrevor in Eurobin, our fresh-hopped beers are very close to our hearts.
This year, we wanted to do something to really celebrate this truly unique part of the world that we live in so we’ve created our North East Victoria IPA (NEVIPA).
Brewed with pure Alpine water, fresh Galaxy hops from Eurobin that were added to our brew just hours after picking, NEVIPA is brewed with native mountain botanicals foraged from the banks of the Ovens River and Mount Hotham by our Head Brewer, Reid Stratton.
These ingredients include: Pepperleaf (Tasmannia lanceolata), Hop bitter-pea (Daviesia latifolia), Mint bush (Prostanthera rotundifolia), Peppermint gum (Eucalyptus radiata), Lemon-scented gum (E. citriodora): The result is a beautiful Hazy IPA with a flavour that truly represents North East Victoria.
This is our most ambitious attempt yet to really capture the flavour of our valley.
