Leading plant-based food company Love Buds recently launched their BUDSbassador program at the Sydney Uni on Monday 1 August and Tuesday 2 August.
The BUDSbassador program enables ambassadors of Love Buds to financially reward when introducing the Love Buds products into their favourite cafes. This pseudo sales force is driven to educate the market on how good the Buds plant-based foods are and can replace meat in most cafe dishes.
Held at the University of Sydney Union Club Day “Welcome Fest” where students were invited to explore clubs, freebies, network with sponsors and have a whole lot of fun.
Love Buds had their distinctly branded food truck on site providing delicious cafe treats on both days.
Over 1,000 students were able to grab a free bite and enjoy their lunch without having to kill any animals in the process.
The sampling was very successful, and all liked the taste and texture of the range of Love Buds. Cafe Culture Magazine was also present and were able to speak to some of the students about their positive plant-based experiences.
Some of the comments include:
“I loved it, I’m honestly considering not eating meat anymore! All my mates loved it too, all our plates were empty. I would definitely eat it again, everyone loved it, we will absolutely have it again.”
“It’s really good. I was just telling my friend that if you told me this was real meat, I would have believed you. I would go out of my way to order this again in a cafe”.
The Cafe Culture team also loved the food and was able to sample both the plant-based mince and the burger, which was complemented with a vegan sauce from Birch & Waite.
