We're overjoyed to share the news that Farah & Anton, the heart and soul behind BALADI, were officially crowned 'Brisbane's Best Cafe' for 2023! 🏆

Their story is nothing short of inspirational. From the smallest cafe (literally), to taking out the biggest honour.

What came from a love of hosting people with her warm hospitality and food, Farah was craving that social connection while studying for her PhD, so she and Anton took the leap to borrow enough money to start their coffee van.

But starting a cafe business wasn't without challenges, particularly during a pandemic. But Anton credits their success to his wife, "Farah's authenticity and natural people skills" for the cafe's success. And their fiercely loyal community would agree.

Throughout the 5-week campaign, Baladi stayed strong on the leaderboard, with customers proudly voting and sharing the love every single day, despite not being prompted too.

For Farah, it's all about her customers – remembering names and orders from just one visit and spreading love with heartfelt charity donations for people in need. Their victory is so very well-deserved!

Congratulations to @baladitrailer @b105brisbane Brisbane's Best Cafe 2023!
