Iconic Italian food emporium, Brunetti Classico, is putting the D.I.Y back into Mother’s Day with its pre-order take home gnocchi and pizza kits.
Treat your mum to something she will truly appreciate, a home cooked Italian meal made by her children especially for her, with the help of Brunetti Classico.
“Mother’s Day is one of our busiest in-store trading days at Brunetti Classico, but we have listened to our customers and we’re now also offering Mother’s Day D.I.Y packs for those who like to celebrate this special day at home,” said Fabio Angele, owner and director of Brunetti Classico.
“Our take home D.I.Y kits are perfect for children of all ages to cook up a special gift for mum this Mother’s Day. For the younger children, with the help of an adult, they can follow the simple instructions to create an authentic Italian meal for mum,” Fabio added.
The gnocchi and pizza kits are $40 and $30 respectively and pre-orders can now be made via the Brunetti Classico website or by calling 03 7034 7066.
In addition to D.I.Y. packs, Brunetti Classico also has a selection of Mother’s Day celebration cakes,which are available from 1 May 2024, and include:
• Mother’s Day Cupcake [$8.00] - this delectable treat features a heavenly vanilla cupcake filled with a luxurious blend of milk chocolate, passionfruit, and coconut ganache, creating a symphony of tropical flavours that will tantalise the taste buds.
• Mother’s Day Cake [$62.90] - delicately layered with strawberry and milk chocolate mousse, Prosecco and strawberry jelly on a decadent flourless white chocolate sponge, each bite is a symphony of flavours that celebrates the love and devotion of motherhood. Adorned with a luscious peachy pink glaze and a graceful pink chocolate ribbon, this masterpiece is a visual delight that is sure to captivate both the eyes and the taste buds.
• Coquette custom cake [$125] - this masterpiece embodies girly and delicate decoration, perfect for celebrating Mother’s Day or any special occasion. Each slice reveals three layers of moist vanilla mud cake, layered with a luxurious filling of milk chocolate, passionfruit, and coconut ganache. Adorned with vintage-style piped buttercream in a soft peach hue, delicate ribbon bows, pearls and a charming “Mum” topper, it’s a visual delight and a heartfelt tribute to the extraordinary mothers in our lives.

In store at Lygon St and Moonee Ponds, breakfast will be presented Italian style with coffee and Danish pastries also available at the bar. For brunch, a selection of panini or hot breakfast, plus delicious cake treats. Lunch will include Gnocchi Funghi and Ricotta and Spinach Ravioloni, which can be accompanied by a refreshing item from the beverage menu.
While for dinner, Mum can choose from an exquisite selection of pastas such as Spaghetti Carbonara, Bolognese, Lasagna Classica, and Linguine di Mare as well as dinner classics including Osso Buco [Moonee Ponds only] and Paccheri Gamberi e Calamari. Brunetti Classico’s mouthwatering desserts will also be the star of the show, featuring mignon, individual cakes and gelato.
